He is covered generously from head to toe is a crimpy soft light fawn fleece that displays amazing brightness, handle and architecture. Prefontaine is uniform not only in his gorgeous champagne coloring, but in his crimp style as well.
He is sired by multi- champion and champion producing powerhouse, 4Peruvian Legacy. Legacy is the 2002 AAA Futurity Herdsire of the Year, the 2005 AAA Futurity Reserve Light Herdsire of the Year and a Blue Ribbon Get of Sire winner in 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 & 2007! Prefontaine's maternal grandsires are PPeruvian Victor and PPeruvian Vengador- Both males that are absolutely fabulous in production record.
We have started breeding Prefontaine to females on our farm, as well as offering breedings to outside clients. He is an ambitious breeder and knows exactly what to do.
We are very anxious to see the offspring produced by Prefontaine. Our first crias sired by Prefonataine are expected Spring 2011.
